Either the house all got the death plague at once or we all got food poisoning from yesterday. Morning poops could have been from beer, but all day throwing up and significant chills. Parents are still down and out, me I’m about 20% functional.

I fucking hate submittal weeks. Stress, long hours, and existential dread of missing something is no fun. That said, at least I got to do my 12 hour day in my boxers at home so no pants were required! Silver linings…

Good: Got released at 1pm due to work holiday party (starting at 6). Bad: Submittal to prime consultant in the morning; always gives me anxiety. Good: Unlike usual, spend 3 hours at home relaxing and soon to enjoy hot shower to unwind! Bonus: party party tonight!

One problem with this industry (civil engineer) of mine is that when in plan production, ya gotta wait for others to do their task before advancing one of yours too far. Hurry up and wait and then when it comes it’s a mad scramble before the deadline. Never fails 😂🙈

Just testing this thing out. I’m Rockin Ray, civil engineer by day and goblin by night. Metal and goth music, fantasy and sci-fi books, and sports (long suffering Bears and Cubs fan) are my loves along with good beer and good times.
