Heck, I think I react the same way now myself! LOL Tried playing Metroid on my daughter's Switch and, wow, the difference in graphics now! Amazing how much it's progressed in the last....40 years...OMG I feel old now. LOL

My maiden name is Belmonte (with a silent "e" at the end). When I learned as a kid that the character in Castlevania was Simon Belmont, I was psyched! Zelda is the best! I'm getting my kiddo into the old NES games now. She thinks they're too "old looking". "It's like they're not even rendered!" LOL

There have been a few people over the years who my husband and I have come in contact with. We tried to help them, get them out of the scamming life, but we failed. One guy was an aspiring fashion designer. The other had a daughter. After we tried to help, they just wanted money instead.

Fun fact, my husband's pictures are often used in their scam profiles. Got to talk to a bunch of them a few years ago. Saw where they lived. It was..... interesting.
