Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush: I like it but HOLY SHIT SHOULD THIS BE FREE. This is like if they made the Mushroom Kingdom World and Luigi Balloon Mode in Mario Odyssey paid for 20 bucks. Like yeah it’s cool to go back to DK Island but there’s better uses of 20 dollars… like Silksong

The Descendants: Was originally gonna make a joke about how nice George Clooneys voice was, then I heard they say fuck twice, realized this movies rated R and actually locked in. This movies so good man, it’s so emotional and I wish Clooney won an Oscar for it

Creature Commandos: Now THIS is some great world-building. Obviously not the best of Gunn's work, but it does a great job of establishing how this new DCU works with monsters and creatures being commonplace, and how the characters will cross between live action and animation which I hope we see soon

The Naked Gun: NOW THAT'S COMEDY, THIS YEAR KEEPS DELIVERING WITH REAL GOOD FILMS DUDE. There's one joke here that really got me. If you see it, you'll know what I mean when you hear "I don't like this." They knew the assignment and this was real funny man, go see this one.

The Naked Gun 33 1/3: Not as funny as 2, but there's still tons of absolute gold in here, like "Like a blind man at an orgy, I was going to have to feel my way through" which is just too damn funny

Yakuza 0: These games are like Books, they’re very long and have some boring or slow parts, but are worth it for the REALLY COOL moments that happen before the end of each chapter. I liked LAD more, but this was a game I absolutely had to play after that one and I am far from done with this series

Donkey Kong Bananza: This is my Game of the Year for 2025, and that is not changing. Nintendo, to this day, continues to show that they have new ideas, and this game is the perfect embodiment of that. Forget Mario Kart World, this is the reason to buy a Switch 2.

Resident Evil 4 Remake: After this and Alan Wake 2 I think I can officially say I am a fan of Survival Horror, and RE just does it perfectly. This game was so well paced with each chapter being satisfying to complete, great characters, some gnarly monsters, and overall a deserved nominee for GOTY'23

Super Mario Strikers: Y’know I tried the demo for Battle League and got confused and wasn’t a big fan of the gameplay so I never bought that game, BUT THIS GAME DUDE. Next level games cooked here and I hope they can bring that magic back for their next project (Probably LM4)
