no you can totally play RDRII first! It stands alone really well and is SUCH a good game like it's in my top games I ever played, it has such an amazing story and voice acting and world-building and stuff. I played it first.

spoilers for the comic obviously... at first rocket was horrified because flerken but then chewie (goose's name in the comic lol) did something very impressive and won rocket over... my banner is from that comic too
