OK - what I meant is what was in your head not mine. I get it.

Nothing in the thread says "back to normal".

Who knows - but I know we are better off having NATO and being a part of it than any other option for security that is currently viable. Trump wont be here in 5 years so its not all about today.
November 8, 2025 at 11:42 AM
Indeed- fair point.
November 8, 2025 at 11:39 AM
Keep these coming. The world needs more Alan.

I love this but NATO isnt just about Trump and Putin isnt a fan of peace and collaboration.

There have been an average of 2 a day for the last 4 years. Just focus on that rather than the 2 this week. Do your job.

If you want politicians to be more authentic stop doing interviews that are just looking for headlines.

Meg is amazing. Simple as that.

I didnt voice support for him, I just said he was allowed an opinion without being told to fuck off by Angry Dad. I still think that is fair enough but I do agree with you point, and I am probably getting ahead of myself with my worries about Reform, although they are legitimate concerns.
November 2, 2025 at 5:22 PM
At no point did I say anyone needs to rally around Labour, but I do think a landscape of Green, LD and Labour all sitting near 17% makes it much easier for Reform, and I absolutely think it is appropriate to look at Germany in the 1930s.
November 2, 2025 at 2:10 PM
You clearly have not read what I said Steve.
November 2, 2025 at 1:39 PM
I think what The Socialist Dad is proving is that underneath the interesting and articulate argument being presented by Zak you are just left with a lot of the idiots that thought Jeremy Corbyn was a good idea.
November 2, 2025 at 12:12 PM
Oh dear lets laugh at his name because he raised a point we don't like..... I will change it to Ian, George or maybe Something Dad so I can 'right on trend' like you and the Socialist and angry Dad. Hopefully I will then be as serious and interesting as you chaps. Have a great day 🚀🚀🚀
November 2, 2025 at 12:03 PM
I have mainly voted Green all of my life so that doesn't really make any sense. But if worrying about a Reform government makes me deeply unserious in your eyes then I will let you crack on with spending your Sunday showing everyone how serious you are by telling people to fuck off :-)
November 2, 2025 at 11:18 AM
That's a fair point but equally it is fair to ask the leader of one of those parties to explain their view on it or even defend their view on it. If we just go around telling everyone to fuck off then we will end up a much worse situation than we are today.
November 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM
If you have a voting block of around 60-70% split between regional nationalist parties and LD, Labour and Green you literally open the door to facism. Germany in the early 30s is a good example. People have a right to be concerned about that.
November 2, 2025 at 10:46 AM
Someone has had their weetabix this morning. This shows that underneath the brilliant communication skills of @zackpolanski.bsky.social there is potentially not much else. Splitting the vote on the left does make it easier for Reform it's a fact but you dont need to swear at people for stating it.
November 2, 2025 at 10:26 AM
Why isn't he allowed an opinion? If you disagree with it you can either ignore it or make an argument to say why he is wrong. Just hiding behind your keyboard and being aggressively rude is a pathetic.
November 2, 2025 at 10:02 AM
What qualifies someone to be a muso?
November 1, 2025 at 1:59 PM
I honestly don't know how you do it. I get anxiety just by looking at that picture. I can't imagine being stood behind the mic with people in the seats waiting to be made to laugh.... Good luck with the rest of the tour.
