The powerful headline that shouldn't need to be a headline at all: "Forward Party lets all voters pick Utah Senate replacement"

Can you imagine the two parties doing this? Incredible leadership demonstrated by FWD-UT and @senthatcher.bsky.social.

Party changes in the executive branch will continue to be tectonic shifts of greater magnitude as long as congress continues to defer its governing obligations. We need term limits and agility to fix our ridged political landscape.

The Freedom of Information act is not enough. We need a Right to be Informed.
Government needs an enshrined obligation to make accessible to its citizens its knowledge. With limited exceptions for protection of the physical sovereignty and privacy of those under it’s jurisdiction.

I was going to #armchairsenator some constitutional amendments and I realized I wasn’t clear on who “the people” are currently. Perhaps we need a glossary amendment. I found this interesting article from 2013 that illustrates the confusion. harvardlawreview.org/wp-content/u...

A human paradox is that we are each infinitely idiosyncratic and at the same time generally insignificant.
