Update: spoke with Craig staffer a few mins ago. This person confirmed that Craig will be voting NO on HR 9495 today and directed me to her tweet from yesterday confirming her stance.
Tweet from Rep Angie Craig dated 11/20/24: "As I've always said, I will work across the aisle whenever I can to get results for Minnesotans. That is especially true as we enter a new era of governing in Washington. I am supportive of H.R. 9495's provision that postpones tax deadlines for Americans wrongfully detained abroad, and I strongly oppose any actions that support foreign terrorist organizations. However, over the past several days as the president-elect has rolled out his cabinet nominees, I've become increasingly concerned that H.R. 9495 would be used inappropriately by the incoming Administration. I've heard from constituents in my district and non-profit leaders from across Minnesota who share those concerns. For those reasons, I will vote against H.R. 9495 this week and will continue to do what's in the best interest of Minnesotans."
