It's certainly true here in the UK there can be problems with long waiting lists. It's not perfect and there are ways for critical cases to be sped up but in terms of the broader benefits to society eg neonatal, postnatal care, elderly care, free prescriptions and so on are ultimately better for us

If you actually look at the data on health outcomes Americans pay almost twice as much for the same level of care so I don't believe this is broadly true. There are exceptions for some cutting edge treatments, but that can also work the other way for specialist treatments not available in the US

You asked why Cubans flee to America. There are many other countries who have socialised healthcare where it works successfully and they don't have communist leaders so I find the question to be framed incorrectly
