In the mid-1970s I worked not far away (the Lisson Grove U.B.O.), but avoided both Tussaud's and the Planetarium after very disappointing experiences of both. I doubt that Tussaud's has improved - do you know what the Planetarium's like now?

As I've been noticing (and moaning about) for years: people don't buy books. They'll come along to readings, often regularly, showing every sign of enjoying the poetry, but scarcely one in fifty buys a book. And that includes poets who themselves complain that no-one buys their books...
