At this point, I admit a degree of resignation regarding past practices, but my focus is firmly on finding a sustainable path for coexisting with generative AI—a path that prioritizes human craftsmanship and creative intent.

While I am fundamentally against unauthorized learning and have attempted various preventative measures, the speed of technology advancement constantly outpaces the efforts, placing an overwhelming burden on individual creators.

Regarding the complex issue of unauthorized data scraping for AI training, I find it incredibly challenging to manage personally.

In these conversations, the AI's input is never accepted wholesale but is integrated as one source of inspiration among many, allowing me to refine my own creative direction.

I strongly prefer that the final, finished pieces are rendered by human hands from scratch.

Beyond just illustration, I use AI in my personal workflow for thought-partnering (or 'kicking ideas around').
