We're about a week out from closing BBQ preregistrations for the Winter Ball '25! We'll post a final reminder on January 20th. For folks who sign up after the 20th, we'll be ordering pizza. We've got 50 folks registered so far, and we'd love for you to join them; it's going to be a ton fun!
Rochester Royals Winter Ball '25 poster. Lists three Magic the Gathering events: Premodern main, legacy side, and Old School side. $50 entry gets you Lunch from Dinosaur BBQ (if you sign up by Jan 20th), and registration to any of the events. The event takes place on January 25th at the VFW in Fairport NY (300 Macedon Center Road Fairport NY 14450) with doors opening at 10:30 AM. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Brighton Food Cupboard and if you bring at least 1 item from their needed items list we will reimburse you $3 on the day. Rochester Royals Winter Ball '25 poster. This is our first charity event and is run in benefit of the Brighton Food Cupboard. All proceeds from the event will go to the charity. Entry will be $50, includes lunch from Dinosaur BBQ, and entry into all Magic events on the day. We will have a 100 person Premodern Main event, an Atlantic OS 93/94 side event, and a Legacy side event. All events are playtest card friendly. We are offering a $3 reimbursement for participants that bring items from the Cupboard's needed items list. Those items include but are not limited to: Beans & Rice, Cereal, Fruit (canned), Pasta & Sauce, Tuna, Soup, Vegetables (canned), Peanut Butter, Feminine Hygiene, Tooth Paste, Toothbrushes, Soap & Detergent, Toilet Paper, Shampoo, and Deodorant.
