Forgiveness is overrated. I might tolerate an ex-MAGA that shows sincere remorse, a deep understanding of what they have done, and a commitment to righting their wrongs, but I will never forgive them or trust them.

You are right. That's why I think people who use that word and then dig in when called on it are ignorant. The English language is rich in vocabulary. There are so many better alternatives. People who use that word must really hate female genitalia.

Yes, that is the irony. I really can't comprehend why people insist on using language that they know offends people unless their purpose is to offend and they take satisfaction from that.
