I remember deciding last minute to do a meetup in Tokyo, thinking like two people would show up (which I was stoked with!). But instead it was a huge turnout!!! I was so touched. I will never forget that day. I’m dying to go back soon!

I didn’t realize my trip to Japan was over a year ago! This was the best trip ever, for both personal and business reasons. Took a ton of great meetings, met with a bunch of cool people, but then still took a couple days to silently explore fortresses in DisneySea so yeah perfect

The QOTSA show was part of their Catacombs tour and was maybe one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. In the first act, the Dolby Theater was almost totally pitch black inside while Josh Homme crawled through it with a worklight, singing string quartet versions of their songs

I got to go to a special Queens of the Stone Age show at the theater they do the Oscars in, and it had a fancy dress code so I just busted out the Morpheus outfit again

I want to put the rumors to rest: YES, the Mega64 live show’s load-in music at the venue was the area BGM from EPCOT’s “Listen To The Land” in 1982. Hopefully now we can put all the hearsay behind us and move on with life. Thank you
