If he was unsuited, then a more suited Dem should have run and beaten him for the nomination. They didn't. Thus far, he's the only person to beat Trump in an election. Historians will look at his term with fondness.

I don't think he "struggled" with inflation at all. The US recovered from the global inflation problem better than the rest of the world. He may have struggled with the messaging aspect, but not with the actual problem.
