Jujutsu Kaisen: Season 2. Yuji Itadori is unconscious after being seriously injured by a previous battle with Choso. He is laid on the glowing water-filled floor of Ryomen Sukuna's darkened domain. Sukuna whispers off-screen, "Hey brat, it's time to wake up..." This is set a moment before Sukuna switches with Yuji to show the obliteration of Shibuya and the horrors that were committed by his body.

September 2023 - A change in the weather With the chilled breeze that knocked on the edges of the leaves, it blew its frigid breath across the surface of lakes and howled over swathes of crisp grass as it flurried the last bastions of summer dander. With the well-trodden exchange of local voices for the distant-travelled winged creatures that now filled the skies with their aerial dances and fanfare song ahead of winter's impending arrival, their display was a splendid show on nature's frameless stage. With the last kisses of comforting heat and golden sunlight that now warped into a spectrum of auburn radiance, just as the scattered light and receding temperature ushered many into their sanctuaries ready to sleep, a final blast of brilliant light and embrace of warmth calls out: Autumn is here.

October 2023 - An unexpected sound Startled awake, Goten found himself equally alert and fearful, even more so than usual, as so many confusing, traumatic, and fast-changing things had happened in the last day, week, or... the boy wasn't even sure how long it had actually been anymore. Swallowing harshly and reaching out his fledgling ki to feel the familiar warmth of the people in his home, Goten slowly slipped out of bed and nervously clenched his pyjama top as he began to tentatively pad down the darkened hallway. He gently turned the handle of the now-closed door of his mother's ever-open room before he approached the side of the bed and looked on at the sight before him with relief: his snoring father's figure lovingly wrapped around his mother's sleeping frame, each of them with a content smile glazing their faces - the man of his bedtime stories and imagination was finally home, and that was enough for the boy.

Hearing this from Yamcha, Goku stood with his shoulders slack and his mood dampened, ready to leave without the sweet goodbye he had hoped for - that is, until he was utterly taken aback by the subject of their conversation making a sudden appearance and the boldest move possible by pulling him into a fierce kiss. Looking at his now momentarily dazed friend as Chi-Chi, the midnight-haired woman of his friend's affections, departed quickly, he added in surprise, "Well, I've been wrong before."
