There is some disgruntlement among the residents over this headline! They have asked me to make clear, we arrived before the weather warning began and have not moved since! These guys have not attempted to travel, which is precisely why everyone is still here! No ignoring has happened!

The main problem for getting out and for the roads is the depth of the snow drifts. I got about thigh-height into one but I really didn't want to go any further, despite having thermals, waterproof trousers and snow cleats

This is Nicole with Agatha the dog last night. It's Agatha's birthday today so she had a little bowl of chopped sausages for breakfast. She's just finished a round of steroids after a brush with death where she had to have two blood transfusions for a medical condition. That's why she's a chonk

Ever the professional, @garycalton.bsky.social has been out at all times of day of night, climbing on things in the snow for many hours. I, on the other hand, have mostly been indoors watching him out of the window

I live on the other side of the Yorkshire Dales and I picked Gary up en route on Saturday. The roads were icy but drivable (especially because I spent £350 on a new set of all-season tyres the day before we set off) and as we approached the pub about 4pm we could see some snow

Morning from the Yorkshire Dales! We have now entered day three snowed in at the Tan Hill Inn, Britain's highest pub

My feed is giving me a lot of pictures of sunsets, perhaps because I like nature and it hasn't figured me out yet, so here's one I took the other day near Otley chevin
