I voted for Zack and also voted for some of the other roles. I didn't vote for all of the roles because I lack sufficient knowledge to make an informed decision. I guess that knowledge will come as time goes by and I get more involved!

What a horrid thing for Brianna Wu to say. Especially the use of the "normal" adjective. Don't lump me in with that "Brianna Wu" person. It is hard to imagine the positions of most trans women aligning with hers.

The trouble is that it's hard to know what the absolute truth is. There's a reddit post put out by the trans employee which looks authentic and is believable but we don't know. I would like to see M&S put out an official statement so we know what their "head office" position is.

The thing is, EVEN THE BILLIONAIRES could have a better life if taxes were a little higher for them, because there is likely to come a time when they at the very least need emergency care from the NHS. Some of them do see it. Some of them are so myopic that they can't - or won't.

I hope those who harassed you will learn that there is a better way - acceptance, which reduces stress on both sides. I don't expect it will happen, sadly, but I hope so. Allow me to say those words back to you that you say so often - you are beautiful, you are valid, and you are loved.

As a Green for only a year or so and an activist for about half a year, I voted for Zack and I hope to see him elected leader. He has the charisma to lead the party. I think it will accelerate our growth. In a one-member-one-vote democratic party I don't see how a "hostile takeover" can happen.

It's the usual rubbish. "A legitimate aim is to make sure transphobes can use the loo while excluding trans people." What rot. Especially when toilet attendants can be of any gender and there are often signs up stating this in public WCs. In any case, it is not a statement of criminal law.

I don't understand it. I don't understand how people can be so cruel. Behind their mask, they must bear Suella Braverman's gleeful face as she stood in Rwanda showing where she wanted to send refugees. Where's compassion for others? We must be better here and everywhere.

It's funny how these rules are partly about protecting the brands of Visa and Mastercard. It seems to me that those brands are being torn to shreds by the overreach.

I don't think Labour govt are interested in minority rights at all, esp. disabled people, so they probably think they have the ideal candidate - someone who can be ineffective on all fronts. In truth it should not be the govt who has the power to appoint this role.

I suspect you know you're going to lose. The judicial review hasn't been halted, has it? Two days have been set aside for it, so the appeal has been allowed to progress that far at the very least. You could do your job and PROMOTE EQUALITY. How you can sleep at night is beyond me.

As you say, it's a lie. The law still stands that trans people can only be denied access if it is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim. Although who knows, perhaps courts would now think "I don't like them transies" is a legitimate aim these days.

This should never be happening in our time. Of course, I'm sure the govt will say it's intolerable, as it always does, and then go on to tolerate it rather than do something about it.

Yes indeed. So join us from £6 and help us make sure Zack Polanski becomes leader and not Ellie and Adrian. There are quite a few trans people among our membership (I'm one of them) and we need to do our best to keep at least one national party on our side. We live in times that are getting harder.

This is in the back of my mind as well. I don't know how to vote for the other positions than the leadership yet. I'll look into it in more detail when the voting period starts.
