Agreed, having a larger one in your home sewing area is the best. I have a smaller one I take to retreats which works great. I did cover both with a custom pillow case to protect the mat, as one became scorched from constant ironing.

This is so lovely to read about. Especially since I had a hand with making it and ehquilts being so awesome with restoring it. Great job!
