Actually, Ushi not only knows that he's a cat, he's decided that WE'RE cats too. As a result, we regularly get groomed with both tongue and teeth. Here he is cleaning my knee.

Oh, they know they're cats. One lives (ironically) for the fish tank, and there's constant grooming and pouncing... excellent litter usage, they just don't like fish much, apparently.
