It’s a year since I first held my book, & serendipitously I got a lovely letter from @yalebooks congratulating me for my @thesahgb award. I’d like to thank them back, because Yale was a dream to work with. I feel very fortunate and couldn’t be happier that it’s lived up to expectations.

#EYDC2024 Day 31: through this challenge I’ve learned about loads of #Kdramas I didn’t know, & 1 stood out on everyone’s lists. So I signed up for Viki to watch, and so glad I did. Lovely Runner is my favourite for the year. ❤️ timeslips & this one is innovative & wonderful! Will rewatch for sure!

I discovered this amazing world of stories - & culture - that kept my brain focused. I highly recommend checking out Korean telly (& yes other Asian too but I’m a K-addict). ‘Drama’ is misleading for the uninitiated - something for everyone! My recommend starter is ‘Would You Like A Cup of Coffee?’

#EYDC2024 Day 17: I’m finding it hard not to put Woo Do-hwan at the top of my #kdrama best actor list. Mr Plankton was a hard watch at times, but he delivered the full range of complex emotions. I also think Ahn Jae Hong was brilliant in the wonderfully weird Chicken Nugget.

#EYDC2024 Day 15: I almost gave up Strongest Deliveryman for sheer predictability but I liked so many cast I persevered and it grew in me. Not my fave but wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
