Like lots of thriller writers, I’m often inspired by true crime stories. In fact, there is a character in THE SEVEN who is driven by their obsession with infamous cult leader Charles Manson, so for research I read Helter Skelter, the bestselling book by prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi. 1/5

Finally watched #Nyad. What a film, what a woman! I love swimming, it's my favourite sport, so I am in awe of how far Diana Nyad swam and also how many times she tried, failed, then tried again until she cracked it. Excellent life lesson!
