Had already been inspired by a couple of other stitchers to stop doomscrolling and start resist stitching and have been working on this jacket. A professor of women's studies at ODU recommended your book and it just arrived. Can't wait to get into it.

Also going to sew a couple of protest statements around the cuffs and front pockets. Hand stitching instead of doom scrolling helps keeps my blood pressure down. Wool felt letters.

Went to one of those paint nights at a restaurant bar. First time I've ever painted a picture. I have painted shoes. Went with my sister and it was very nice sitting there together learning brushstrokes. She fell in love with it, and now she sits and paint something every day.

Guzman, a Spanish hunting dog rescued from torture. One of my pet sits. His owner also has two greyhounds rescued from Florida and another galgos hunting dog.
