I’m back to banging the rock musician autobiography audiobook drum again!
This time it’s Serj Tankian’s memoir and it’s fascinating.

I’ve already learnt loads about the Armenian genocide and the fact he set up and ran a successful software business before music.

I’ve not even got to Toxicity yet!

I’ve done well this Christmas. What book should I read first from this stack?! 📚

Why did I not know 400 pages of this are about Adolf Hitler? I think I’ll put it down until the new year and crack on with a lovely book all about Nora Ephron and her films

Really enjoyed listening to the audiobook of Deryck Whibley’s autobiography, Walking Disaster.

l’ve always liked Sum 41 but they aren’t one of my favourite bands.

However, the book is incredibly frank and honest with proper rock anecdotes and talk about physical and mental illness.

Rewatching season one of the best looking TV show.

Severance is also incredibly well written, acted and scored. It’s mind-bending, beautiful, exciting and I love it! Bring on season two!

Such respect to the whole team including the brilliant DoP Jessica Lee Gagné!

I typically have two books on the go - one hardback at home and one paperback to take anywhere.

I took a break on this for a while, but I’m now back to Knausgaard to finish off My Struggle. I love the books but this one has been more of a struggle…

On set for an upcoming literary adaptation (as an extra) and started my next book, a gift from a few years ago;

I know I bang on about this album but it is brilliant.
Incredible scene setting and storytelling, and so sad. I’ve had it on repeat for 18 months and I’m still discovering new amazing things all the time.

Me too! Still making my way through them though. Lots to catch up.

I’ve been over to Iceland many times but never seen the Northern Lights or attended Nordic Noir yet! Lucky you.

I did see them before we landed though!

I finally caught a certain film on its final day at cinemas in Bristol yesterday and now I’m thinking that maybe this is correct:

Top Body Horror Movies

1. The Fly
2. The Substance
3. Society
