I'd hardly call George Bush a centrist, although by the standards of today's extremist right, he almost appears as one. Nostalgia isn't doing anyone a favor.

Rather than accept a step in your preferred direction, you'd rather maintain emnity with those who can help?

Centrists work against abuses too. Cool your jets on hate for the judicious.

Give me a break. Centrists are not the enemy. We're challenged by unhealthy extremes & seek to steer a path that works for all. At this moment, and for decades the extremist with power doing the most damage to society are on the right.
