I can feel the imposter syndrome welling up in me already. Would love to just stand there and encourage people, tell some jokes and remind them they are brilliant and amazing. There are so many deserving though that need a shot and a slot.

Ok just kidding. Mine is “have a voice and share your opinions.” Their experience and views matter and it’s easy to run into “we’ve never done it that way” syndrome. We need fresh thinking.

The humorist in me wants to say “Dunking on them” but this is a more serious topic.

And honestly - when it comes to an audit the MOST important thing probably isn’t the tech skills of the person, it’s the CHARACTER of the ones looking at and interpreting data.

Integrity matters. A Lot.

But man this is soooo needed.

Critical Thinking needs a comeback.

As people sought a more comfortable life over last several decades, resilience became a lost art. It’s so needed now and it can only be learned by doing. Seeing someone model it and then walking through difficulty. So many hurting and anxious students need us to show them what it looks like.

waiting for the big reveal … and simultaneously wondering why there isn’t a “baby pool” style contest and/or countdown clock going…

I’m sorry our country is in the state it is where division seems more important than unity. But I (and many others) also know YOU are amazing and that doesn’t change with your location.
