I don't understand why every time PBS does a show that is about the craft of painting they must use the most uninteresting insipid people making trivial paintings. Have they any idea how art has evolved over the last 2,000 years?

There just aren't enough Hammershoi paintings in the world. I recently saw the one's in Toledo and Cleveland. Well worth the time.
