Happy birthday Doctor Who, you mad old bastard.

Look at this wonderful old guy. God I love him.

Oh yeah

We have a jar. Once or twice a year we drink wine and draw up a list of films we want to watch. I print them off, cut them up, they go in the jar.

Always choose the next film just after finishing the previous one, giving you time to plan for its length.

The new Ainley Master figure is wonderful. What a piece of work. You can hear the chuckle.

And… to take us home…

Horror films are amazing, yeah? A genre of constant wit, innovation and variety.

I’ve had an excellent month, and these are just a handful of the films that have brought me joy.

Two things:

1. This is such a great TV show and I love every second of it.

2. This promo image rather undersells it, and suggests they might be trying to distract a dog with sausages so they can steal sweets.

Watching Rob Zombiems his awful reboot of Halloween. But I like this bit, where it looks like Michael has noticed my little ghosts.

Nice little coincidence. Two of my favourite things started on Oct 25. Halloween released in 1978, Marillion’s first single in 1982.

Absolute bobbins. I had a wonderful time.

It’s foggy out. Just ask these ghost cows.

God, the BBC is good isn’t it? This is just tonight’s viewing.

Just started reading James Herbert’s “The Fog”. Quite enjoyable, but also presumably the inspiration for Garth Marenghi.

Writing plot stuff, listening to Marillion. My life is ace.

Hey, Paramount’s “Skip Intro” button. I’ve watched the whole intro. Take a hint and piss off.

When I was ten years old, I wrote letters to my friends, pretending I was working for the BBC and asking them to act in my new show. It was less embarrassing than this.

Sterling work from my random Doctor Who screen grabs shuffle this morning.

Who callled it ‘Andor’ and not ‘Are You Brave Gorman?’

(This might be too obscure and/or too rubbish)

What’s better than getting home to a new Marillion Blu-ray? That’s right - getting home to four!

My wife does not endorse this post.

Finally catching up on Andor: Who Are You and Welcome to the Rebeliion.

Bloody hell. Just… overcome with emotions.

Strange New Worlds is just wonderful, isn’t it? It just has fun in so many different ways, and seems to be able to pull off anything it tries.

Replaying Last if Us 2. Mostly enjoying it. But I’d forgotten about the long and tedious mid section where you just walk about talking to poorly developed characters for about an hour.

I’m only going to engage with characters through gameplay, Last of Us.
