Read some good books in January. Re-read Blood Meridian, which remains a beautifully awful literary monument. Started reading the Border Trilogy for the first time, and I wonder why waited so long. All Fours was...something. Funny and charming though it dragged a bit at the end.

I don't normally have much to say on people's appearances. To each their own. But Kristi Noem, as one example, has clearly had a lot of work done to fit a certain MAGA aesthetic and it's super weird.
