I love these company crossovers so much. The science aspect in Flash/Fantastic Four, the fun of Shazam/Thor (and Shazam gets to be called "Captain Marvel" again)
Batman/Deadpool for the deep-dive easter eggs that reference ALL DC/Marvel crossovers and the career of the writer themselves.

Finally reading "Cheetah and Cheshire". It's great to see Rucka writing and Nicola Scott's beautiful art. I love that Jade is wearing a sukajan with twin tigers. (Or a 'Vietjan', since Cheshire-- Jade Nguyen-- is Vietnamese). As a kid in Japan, I had a few Sukajan over the years I lived there.

I loved Michael Goilden's artwork but as an 8 year old living in Japan, I had no understanding of the concept of "Foreign Licensing", so I was upset that both Baron Karza and Prince Argon were copies of Go Nagai's "Steel Jeeg" except with different heads and battle accessories.

My dialysis set up today- two TVs, and my laptop. Watching CNN, 1943’s “Thank YourLucky Stars” on Turner Classics, and 1972’s Showa classic anime “Dokonjo Gaeru” ( Gutsy Frog) on my laptop. I also look at Youtube and social media on my phone, but obviously my phone is in use…

sitting around re-reading one of my favorite comics strips. I read some of them when I was 8, while living in Japan where the Air Force base library had an extensive collection of old original comic strip collections in their "Comics. Drawing, and Art" section. Nearly the whole strip is collected.

I don't have these anymore, but the ones I did have when i was 8 years old were these versions . For the Marvel characters, I still hear these voices in my head when I read Silver and Bronze Age comics. For DC, the VO actors from Super Friends kind of overlap with them...

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer was a comic published as specials by DC comics from 1950-1962 , but then again in reprints from 1972-1977, collected as large tabloid editions
The series was actual DC canon in Pre-Crisis Multiverse,on Earth- 12, according to "Crisis on Infinite Earths: The Compendium"

In this week's episode of "SPY x FAMILY", featuring a show within a show, was a great throwback to old anime, specifically the various "Time Bokan" series from Tatsunoko Productions. There was a shot like this in nearly all 430 episodes of the various series spread over 25 years from 1975 to 2000.
