i turned midrolls off a couple of weeks ago. my ad revenue is now 1-3c a stream down from $1-2 but my turbo revenue hasn't changed. still 10-15c a stream. this anecdote is the best i can do for ya. :D
but i feel better not being interrupted by midrolls. that alone is worth losing the ad revenue.

this is the part that stood out.
we lost twitch a few years ago to branded content. the advertising push, then partner managers disappeared, then sponsored streams started getting promoted in the sidebar, then push notifications for ads.
there's more. but twitch is now a dedicated vehicle for it.

As a lifelong Wellingtonian, 1) I think it's entirely appropriate that our first wāhine Māori mayor gets a painted mayoral portrait and 2) $7000 is fuck all for a painting like this. What a bargain.
