Check out the moonrise tonight. While this isn't lined up over the castle quite as beautifully as I would have liked, I only went as far as the top floor of my building to take it, so I can't complain.

Went to see a movie in one of the most beautiful cinemas in the world, Le Colisée. Th entire centerpiece is stained glass, but sadly it's backlight want on. Stunning architecture.

You've surely heard of the Maltese Falcon. Apparently I only get the Maltese Pigeon. This was right outside the window of my Miranda upon arriving here in Malta. Note his excellent use of evil uplighting and his intense side-eye.

Just out for a little stroll in my new neighborhood.

This bridge was constructed in the 1300s. I can walk across it to get from my place to the castle that sits atop the hill on the other side of the river. My life is silly.

Every year in Jan/Feb, hundreds of Bald Eagles flock to Colorado, apparently for the Big Bald Eagle Convention. I saw ten or twelve this morning, all hanging out in the same area. I never tire of seeing these amazing dinosaur descendants.

They're back! For about a year and a half, we had between four and six Bald Eagles (two were young, still with their adolescent coloring) just outside our neighborhood, but they disappeared in early summer this year. Well, at least two of them are back! Expect lots of pictures!

Caught these two on my way home from work today, just north of Denver, CO. A fairly common occurrence in my neighborhood. Last year there were four locals and two visitors who showed up in January/February. I still never tire of seeing them.

Since I have the word "robot" in my handle, I figured my first post should be about one of my robots. I made this wirelessly controlled candy throwing bot in 2020, to be able to give out Halloween candy from an appropriate (social) distance. It was deadly accurate!
