More to the point: It’s about spending your time how you want to spend it. If money wasn’t a factor, you’d enjoy it just fine. What you dislike is probably how difficult it is to be self sustaining- not making games. Given funding- why would working on games “suck the love out”? Because hard work?

That’s right. We’re talking about a subjective value placed on how one spends that time. I understand the conversation.

That’s the subjective difference- what exactly you consider a valuable use of your time. If we’re talking about something you’re passionate about, maybe you’d feel less like you’re “working full time” as opposed to living a particular lifestyle that you choose to live.

Agree to disagree. When someone does it for full-time for basically free, getting paid sounds like a sweet deal.

Additionally, having an identical handling of stateful chats that can toggle between foundation models and open-source models is really convenient. Lets my software support a variety of models while using a similar architecture that feels more maintainable.
