#andrecare is what you get when #applecare runs out, or if you don't want to pony up for the high fees associated with the latter. I was Andre's appointed rep for this repair.

I am most grateful to @iFixit for their fine tutorials and tools as well as for being one of the few sources for […]

Time it took me for this repair: 5hrs 10mins not including several deep reviews of the detail of various steps of the repair tutorial and minor issues which occurred during the repair, overnight curing and testing procedures as well as documentation of the repair and issues encountered […]

I tested the new battery before applying new adhesives to fix it in place.

@dnanian convincing disinformation… the smell of burning flesh in the age of high fidelity AI slop
December 10, 2025 at 12:31 PM
@gullevek sad to hear that AI slop has infected the mechanism of calibre. Content offerings are increasingly slop too so garbage is eating eating finally I suppose.

@hoofin I am not sure I understand the use case. Is this to try to read behind a simplistic client request to see is chatGPT can hallucinate beyond what they are saying and figure out what they are really asking for?

@brian the problem seems to have been that you assumed moms tell daddies everything
