This comic is a sort of kind of sequel to this ancient comic from waaaay back on Twitter.

People I love have left me. I've walked away from others to save myself. The dark figure is revealed to be a hulking creature with wings, the artist's interpretation of Moth man. The girl buries her face in the creature, surrounded by a teal fog. She says, "Sometimes I think I'm not meant for people." An image showing two glowing teal eyes, illuminating what appear to be feathers. Moth man says, "Change is inevitable. To refuse that truth is to suffer.
