giving each category of weapon what is an essentially a super variant makes the pool of weapons seem really small, and a lot of them redundant to use. It's back to the problem 16 had where you can just use 1 or 2 of what u think are the best weapons thru the entire play through.

I felt like Doom 16 had promise, it had little budding elements of a good doom game and they just completely veered off into an insane and wrong direction. I miss actual level design, i miss monster infighting..
