First time applying water slide decals. Oh boy, they ain’t no joke😄. First issue is I think the paint isn’t smooth enough, need more gloss coat? Maybe, I did apply an extra layer to the rest of the parts. Some of the decals got smudged but they look good from a few feet away😅.

I finished arms and shoulders….knees and toes😆. Had to repaint a couple of parts but it turned out ok. Next up is the head and backpack. I think there may be an issue with the feet, #Zeta has a backward lean that I’m trying to figure out.

I did a base coat of Ultramarine Monument Pro Acryl at 25 psi cuz that paint tends to be on the thicker side. Did 2 passes of Tamiya X-2 white. This is a pic of the first pass. Airbrush at 10 psi. I did my best to start in the center and gentle work my way out in small circles if that makes sense😅.

Aw yis! Time for a progress update, yeah I’m still going at it😆. The bottom of the feet are done! Woo! A lot of practice with masking on this. I’ve been fighting my airbrush as well, not the airbrush’s fault….im still learning 😅.
