An fan enemy concept for Silksong that has a chance to shake up rosary collection. Plus some additional info I failed to it onto the actual art.

A Hollow Knight: Silksong enemy fan concept. On the right, three centipedes mimicking the various Rosary Necklaces found in the game. On the left, a Hunter's Journal mock description: Tiny centipede that mimics a rosary braid, easily blending into existing caches. It sneaks onto sleeping or unaware bugs and uses its barbed tongue to leech nutrients from their shells. --- Indeed, the beads of their body are not true rosaries but their own shells - a remarkable adaptation that has nonetheless restricted their range of efficiency to the castes of Pharloom. --- Despite their purpose as a mimic, I do on occasion find myself missing a rosary braid whenever I pull these bugs off of me. Do they congregate in numbers? Are they taking them? And if so, where? TOP LEFT: Simplified top view of the Mimics. "Incredibly weak enemies, more of a gimmick than anything. Will go down in a single hit while active." BOTTOM LEFT: Hornet waking up from a bench with drained health, and swatting a Mimic off her. "When loading a save at a bench, there's a chance Hornet's life bar will be drained a bit. Hornet will notice something's off, and immediately swat the Mimic off herself. If there were any rosary strings in her inventory, there's a chance for one to be missing. (Necklaces aren't affected for ease)" TOP RIGHT: Statue and hanging rosary stashes infected with Bead Mimics. "May also be found around the world, inhabiting usual rosary caches. Will not react unless disturbed." BOTTOM RIGHT: Hornet defeating a Pilgrim Groveler and a Grand Reed, with Bead Mimics jumping off them as a result. "Will occasionally spawn off defeated enemies, replacing their usual rosary drop when it occurs." Extra info I couldn't fit on the other pages. ----- Other things to note: -They can damage you while on the field. I don't know if they should do standard hit=mask damage, or if it should take several sustained beats of up-close scuttling to eventually accumulate a mask of damage. In other words, you can die to them if you're bad enough. -A few ways to prevent them from bench spawning on you would be to carry no rosary strings at all, or to equip some kind of tool. I keep thinking Magnetite Dice due to the luck mechanic, but maybe that's too complicated. -In fact, just as I was writing this I'm considering maybe the Magnetite Brooch would be a way to enable their spawning due to its rosary attraction. Y'know, make it so they're not a permanent nuisance but you can willingly enable them if you want to. Maybe somebody with better tool knowhow can fathom this better.

FIRST PANEL: ---Sans approaches Papyrus with a plate of "spaghetti". Sans: hey papyrus, i made spaghetti, your favorite. Papyrus: SANS, HOW MANY TIMES MUST I TELL YOU THIS? JUST BECAUSE I COOK SPAGHETTI ALL THE TIME DOESN'T MEAN IT'S MY FAVORITE. ----- SECOND PANEL: ---Sans brings the plate to his face while Papyrus turns to look. Sans: huh, good thing it's not actually spaghetti, then. Papyrus: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? ----- THIRD PANEL: ---A closeup of the plate reveals the spaghetti is actually made of hoodie drawstrings. Papyrus: SANS! ARE YOY TEARING UP YOUR CLOTHES TO MAKE JOKES NOW!? ----- FOURTH PANEL: ---Papyrus is now holding the plate and is questioning Sans. Sans looks nervous. Sans: i mean, technically they're not my clothes. Papyrus: WHAT? YOU MEAN TO SAY YOU STOLE THEM? Sans: not sure, but stolen or not... Sans stands in the entrance to the Underground, where Flowey is first encountered. Flowey is now an amalgamated combination of himself and Sans, as several instances of the two continuously grow out of him in bizarre shapes, ways and combinations, leaving him near unrecognizable. Behind Sans is the gateway to the Ruins, which itself is also sprouting growths in the forms of Sans. Sans: ...somebody's definitely getting ripped off.

Almanac, or Alma for short, leader of a band of interdimensional pirate-types who take treasures and other trinkets from obscure corners of the multiverse.

BIG UPDATE ON CEPHALOVIRUS VIDEO PROJECT
After much work since the last check-in, I can confidently say all the art is in a tentative finished state!
The biggest hurdle now is arranging it all into a video form...with subtitles and audio and proper timing...which I'm unsure how to pull off just yet.

You can't start your depression until your bathroom is in sufficient order. Imagine going number two in a mental haze only to find that your toilet isn't flushing, so now on top of your personal demons you have to deal with the literal demon threatening to flood your entire tile floor...Or carpet floor, whatever floats your boat. And yes, that is a demon you just created in your, for some reason, carpeted bathroom. You know how much toxin and bacteria is in that stuff? Thank goodness for modern plumbing, which allows us to stave off those lingering micro- organisms through the novel method of drowning them in the local sewer network. Clears the toxins from your home, just like how you should clear those personal toxins from your soul, which you can't do unless your toilet actually flushes...Oh yeah, toilet paper is important too. Anyway, I need to use your bathroom. If there's carpet flooring in there, I swear to god."

Revisiting a random OC long since tossed into the ancient ether, and decided instead of just redrawing them but in Current Artstyle, why not do a general redesign to make them more interesting?

In an effort to do more with Todd and Monochrone's world, I bucked down and made a rough layout concept of their living room.
Nothing final, it's just to get a general feeling, but it's definitely more lively compared to my older ideas for it.
