Sorry, I knew I was taking a risk by laying the sarcasm on too thick...

Yeah, our leaders have evidently learned that broken systems make more money than the slew of functional systems other countries use. And they sell it as American Exceptionalism and lots of people buy it.

Yes, but how many of those countries have the unique circumstance of being American? Not many, I'd imagine. So you can't really apply anything any of them may have learned here. It's a compatibility issue, you see.

Once you gain the power to either ruin people's lives or make them slightly richer, you'll notice this sort of thing happening all the time. Doubly so if you keep them on their toes by being as unpredictable as a grouchy toddler.

The fuck is a "Miracle" Mile?

I swear there was a time when they said "this looks like a design we'll want to reprint a lot, so we'll call it something generic like Fatal Strike" instead of "we'll call it You're Expelled! today, but next year it'll be Stabbed by a Nazgul"

They're all Nazis or Nazi adjacent so they're all as bad or worse, I'm sure

Usually I just see this in 10 second Jordan Peterson clips. Thousands of words of vapid "debate" is too much.

Man I cannot get through that transcript. They're all so insufferable and most of their citations run opposite to the things I've read on the same subjects. Anyone can just say anything about anything, but if they use enough extra words we all have to treat them like serious intellectuals.

AI is only as smart as its user: They're talking about Mario Cuomo, not Mario Mario.

You're on thin ice, pal

Wow, I hadn't actually seen any of the plans for the Obama library before so I'm surprised how shitty it looks. And I say that as a brutalism enjoyer.

*and WE both resent and reject that

"A year after our run-to-the-center candidate lost, a progressive comes along and proves that was the wrong tactic, and both resent and reject that."

I don't listen to him either but I know he hosts a lot of right wing guests and seems to be most popular with center-right men and he endorsed Trump before the last election. He also has the occasional liberal on but I'm not convinced that counts for much in the end.

Goddamn, there are better ways to have a waffley answer if he really wanted to. "As the mayor of the largest city in the country I believe he would be a part of the future, but the real fight is to be had in Washington blah blah blah" it's not that hard, man.

You're better off not knowing, but if you must: this is exactly what Musk sounds like when he tries to tell a joke, like on his most recent Rogan appearance
