Hey thanks for checking in! This post inspired me to start working on these songs again. I've been mostly recording weird guitar demos on 4-track cassette and making Amiga music for the past few months lol.

But I put in some good work yesterday on LSDJ :)

I have all the tunes written. I am slowly programming parts on a second copy of LSDJ to fill the arrangements out.

I'm not a super fast composer haha.

One thing that has surprised me so far is that despite the Longsword's insane Swiss army flexibility, I can't quite get it to sound as chimey and clear as the Halberd.

Halberd keeps clarity even cranked and playing neck pickups on my 70s Greco thinline copy, so 70s Maxon humbuckers haha.

I'm in the US so had to go ebay. Mine is a Euro model (has the pound sign instead of the $ lol) but it came with the US powersupply, which is the main thing.

r/amiga was very helpful with getting info for a setup. There are definitely several pieces of gear you need to get up and running.

Yeah, I have one of the beta units and made a bunch of music on it 2020-2022 or so. It's a cool device for sure.

Sorta! I'm recreating an older song to learn the Amiga, cause composing something new and learning at the same time is rough.

So it's a demake on more limited hardware. I'm liking this chippy Amiga version, but the original is still a nice tune I think.
