I talked to one new (to me) neighbour who took their poorly 1 year old to the shops, and I waved to a bunch of drivers. It's nice to get out and be seen and try to connect with the community. ☺️

Yeah me too. The white paint was pretty bad already, so I hope they get repainted sooner rather than later.

I know, right? I think as it's a repair request they have to send someone to look in order to close the open ticket. Milton Keynes/Bletchley council are pretty good at updating requests. I reported fly tipping and it got cleaned up within 2 days.

And that's all I have to say on this topic because I care far more about civilians starving and being blown up in Gaza and lawmakers gunned down in their own homes than I can about somebody who would have considered his own violent death an acceptable loss if it happened to someone else.

I just feel like I'm complaining but not doing anything about anything and just trying to get through the day, and then there's another day, and another and nothing is getting better. 🫠 But I made apple butter yesterday.
