Made it sound like it took them 100k lines of code to migrate. The project itself had 100k lines. Still pretty cool beans to do it in a week for a project that size.

The obfuscation is by design. Harder to pull the trigger rather than ordering someone to do it.

Yeah. It does ultimately boil down to education doesn’t it? It just sucks all around. It’s so hard keeping people from shooting their own foot.

That’s interesting. Could be challenging. E.g., people apparently don’t know how tariffs work so they might still vote against their interests depending on how the question is structured.

Isn’t that what democracy rely on— informed voters? Current state of things is essentially distilled into tribalism where a person can’t vote without being pushed to identify with a party’s ideology wholesale. It seems more destructive in the long run.
