I have been thinking the 100th will be the last for a while. AMPAS will focus on young filmmakers and the art of film making. Maybe they will just award certain performances and technical achievements at the end of the year similar to the year end critics awards.

I’m surprised “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere” hasn’t been released yet. Considering its poor box office and lukewarm reviews. Are they holding out hope that it will do well with the Oscars ?

I’m very conscientious when I’m walking by myself . I either keep a respectable distance or walk across the street. I tend to be a fast walker and I never want to make any one uncomfortable. As a husband and dad of two young woman. I’m very sensitive to women walking by themselves.

Just watched it for the first time last night in honor of Robert Redford. It was one of my few blind spots I had in his filmography. Really enjoyed it. Definitely a companion piece to “Parallax View”, “Klute”, and “All the President’s Men”.

And he was a great actor. Sometimes overlooked due to his good looks. One of my favorites of his was a film from the early 80’s “Brubaker”.
