Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. The US would have to approve such a sale. They control parts, diagnostics, and mission data handling. The planes are lawn ornaments without their cooperation. They would withhold it out of spite. Every nation should consider that in the future.

That Harper era law was rescinded by JT's government and then ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court to drive a stake through its heart.

6) Gerrymandering. In Canada, our electoral districts are as close to rectangular as geography allows.
7) Billionaires purchasing US elections. We have modest political donation limits that apply to every person. No corporate money allowed.
8) Electing judges.

I live near a couple of small towns. One of which is just large enough for a Walmart. If it wasn't for them, I'd be hard-pressed to find a bundle of new socks. Some people preaching don't seem to understand that we don't all live at Yonge and Bloor.

Saw these at Walmart today. Yes, they are the big evil US retailer, but I was there for the much better selection of Canadian grocery items. Brine & Co pickles and Canada Red spaghetti sauce for a couple of examples.
