I tried to post that meme on my Facebook page… Within 2 minutes that was hidden from everyone but me.

That’s fine, and I’m all for it, but Tesla has a huge head start on actual change, and most of the company is dedicated to the Tesla mission, Not Musk

You are missing my point. The other EV options are loss leaders for the other ice companies.
I’m all for Tesla dumping Elon. Tesla hasn’t benefited from Elon really since the Model 3 came online.

I would argue that the other EV manufacturers are still operating at a loss and are a big gamble in terms of longevity. They are viable basically because of Tesla, both as an example of the tech, and competition name recognition.

Let me guess… You are getting these figures and claims from the toxic Big Oil industry whose pollution is adding 100 times the global warming chemicals, globally, than every other source, including volcanism
February 24, 2025 at 10:05 AM
And once mined, there is no limit to how many times those minerals can be recycled into new batteries, over and over… as opposed to your preferred alternative… toxic petroleum industry.

Like I said, Tesla is separate from Musk, more so all the time, and Musk’s money comes from a lot more companies than just Tesla. Yes, Musk is increasingly toxic. Tesla, on the other hand is the best answer to fossil fuel cars. Focusing on Tesla is the goal of Big Oil.
February 24, 2025 at 9:57 AM
Er… I mean 250,000 to 1,000,000 miles of battery life
February 24, 2025 at 9:51 AM
That’s dumb. Comparing the limited mining of battery minerals which last 250-1000 miles, and then are simply and easily remade into new batteries VS the never ending extraction and burning of toxic oil… Seriously no comparison.

I’ve had my Model 3 since 2018 and it has changed my life positively in more ways than I can count, or could explain to those who still are driving polluting vehicles.
February 24, 2025 at 9:10 AM
Wrong and self-defeating.
If you are against Tesla, you are pro the poisonous and predatory global fossil fuel oligarchs.
Tesla and Musk are increasingly at odds, and Musk relies more and more on his other ventures.
Tesla is good for humanity. Musk clearly isn’t!
