I've got a pre-paid funeral plan with the COOP. My dad had one and it made everything so easy. Also I paid for it in 2010 when funeral prices were a lot cheaper.

They were perhaps thinking that back then CEOs earned 10 times what their workers did, the top rate of tax was 80%, we owned all the utilities, N Sea oil & gas, the Post Office, BT and the coal & steel industries and being able to buy a house. I was in my 20s. Sex was legal for me at last! Brilliant

Think it goes back to the days before teabags when there were always dregs at the bottom of the cup. We should be over that by now.

Sad bastards!

Nor an immigrant. Farage will be raging!
November 14, 2025 at 4:52 PM
Is that in Duffield's constituency? Maybe voters aren't so keen on voting for transphobic parties.
November 14, 2025 at 3:35 PM
So are Labour going to continue to out Reform Reform by stopping all immigration and beginning the deportations? Because if the don't Reform will continue to bang the 'Labour are weak on immigration' drum.

He's a religious fundamentalist who hates the fact that he's gay and takes his self loathing out on a smaller and less powerful group in society. There is no hate like Christian love!

There seems to be plenty of money to provide intelligence to Israel, buy nuclear bombs & other arms, send billions to Ukraine, spend £21 billion on carbon capture, subsidise oil & gas and to not taxes the rich. It's all about choices and Labour's fall on the weakest shoulders.
November 14, 2025 at 3:11 PM
The party founded by and still largely funded by Trades Unions. Unfuckingbelievable!
November 14, 2025 at 3:06 PM
I'm impressed that you think Reform voters will be so easily swayed. They won't be satisfied with anything less than forced repatriation of all immigrants, their children & grandchildren. Are Labour going to follow them down that road too!

If the remaining members vote for him as leader it deserves to be destroyed.8
November 14, 2025 at 2:58 PM
This is not what we want Labour to deliver. You're just playing into Reform's hands by adopting their language on immigration.
I'd like you to deliver a fairer, more equal society that doesn't demonise minorities and blame them for all our eors

It'll end up with Medics doing the admin work that these staff would've done. The NHS is woefully under managed

Here's one from Teesdale in England. Also the remains of a temperate rain forest.

She'd have been expelled by Starmer for being anti egg farmer.

My local supermarket was playing I wish it could be Xmas every day on November the 8th! Got to feel the staff who have to put up with it over and over for 6 weeks!

I was 24 in 1975, a full time teacher and proud buyer of my 1st house which cost the enormous sum of £4250 on a 95% mortgage from the council. I was young, life was fun and we owned the Utilities, oil, railways, coal, steel and even the phone company. All well before Thatcher.

And he'd have turned Anne Frank over to the Gestapo.

It's turned chilly now with the wind coming from Norway. I expect Viking raiders at any moment 😂

Attlee did impose austerity and was accused of offering 'Jam tomorrow but never jam today' and lost power in 1951 ushering in 13 yrs of Tory Stop Go economic policies.
