He's an idiot, sure. But the problem is he's a puppet of people who are idiots. The mega-rich have become so disconnected from the common experience of being human that they have lost touch with reality. When you hoard wealth to the exclusion of 99.99999999% your quality of life will be temporary.

Since it was Russia who sent 100,000+ troupes over the border on 24 Feb 2022, perhaps one workable peace plan could be that they eff off home.

Just a reminder that 8 guys now have more money than 4 billion people combined. Each of them individually could probably solve hunger or access to education for everyone on Earth. But they don't. There has never been wealth disparity this extreme in all of human history.

However long you think it will take and however much you think it will cost to build the first nuclear power station in Australia, you can start by doubling it. And then maybe double it again.
I'm not totally against the concept of nuclear fission power, but it just makes no economic sense.

19th Nov 2024 marked the 1000th day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Their losses are staggering. It hits different when I see the figure of 19092 AFVs destroyed. Because when I was a trooper in the Australian army, that was my job O_o
