Pet Peeve. Don’t need to use the word “successfully” when telling us a player reached base 5 times or got a hit or whatever. It’s redundant. “(Player X) has hit successfully in seven of his last ten games”. You can’t get on base unsuccessfully. Brevity matters.

Tigers are a .500 team. Some breaks and they can make the playoffs. Could easily go the other way. Have to always remember, the best teams still lose 3 times a week. Can't go ape shit every time something bad happens. This isn't football.

The highlight of my morning so far was seeing a colleague say "Let's see if we can cover this in an email rather than a meeting" when rejecting a blanket meeting request sent to a bunch of people that in the end had nothing to do with the subject at hand and we threw it to another group.

I know nothing about football but if the Lions want to bring Robert Saleh in as DC, him being from Dearborn should not be a factor in that decision in any way. He's been in the league long enough for them to make anotherwise informed opinion.

Having a 2018 KBS, the last of that in which i made a special attempt, either a lottery or presale to get. I found it behind a box in the basement. It holds up. Of course the thrill is gone since it’s widely available now and there’s a million bourbon stouts out there.

Excited to go to the Wings/Montreal game tomorrow. I’ve never seen them play in person and it’s a legendary franchise. Outside of the NFL they were the last holdout.

Doing a rewatch of Better Call Saul after doing the same for Breaking Bad during 2024. Hope to finish it during the break. Knowing how it ends helps divert attention from trying to find the “links” to BB and just enjoy the show for what it is.

Is it weird that I downgraded some streaming apps to the levels with commercials not to save money but I actually prefer the break for the ads?
