And the notion that the greatest hitter of our generation and the greatest baseball player in the history of the sport are only winning MVPs because of market bias is ludicrous.

Did you watch Shohei hit 3 homers and strike out 10 in a game and thought “Shoulda been Schwarber”?

Come on. BFFR.
November 16, 2025 at 6:43 AM
All MVP candidates have a case for their candidacy. But to believe that there is a conspiracy to deny anyone other than LA and NY MVP awards when quite literally the vast majority are from anywhere but those two markets is stupid.

Of course, this vast conspiracy doesn’t extend to Cy Young awards.
November 16, 2025 at 6:40 AM
Which BTW, only 7 out of 20 of the last AL MLB MVPs in the past 20 years have played on the east coast.

Aka, bias.
November 15, 2025 at 3:51 AM
So you didn’t peace out the thread, then?

I love when people with a desperate need for the last word tells people to have a nice day.

You’re right. Everything IS against what you like. Especially because reasons. Enjoy the warm embrace of your weird sports media conspiracy.

Hitting 60 as a catcher is eye opening, but not insane.

What Judge is doing offensively you might not ever see again in your lifetime.
November 15, 2025 at 1:43 AM
I can get behind him playing a tougher position, but hitting 60hrs on one hand, but striking out 190 times, batting in the 240s, and being well behind Judge in almost every other single stat while having fewer wins is a compelling counter argument and not a conspiracy against the West Coast.
November 15, 2025 at 1:43 AM
Didn’t seem to be a problem for Miggy Cabrera, Acuña, Pujols, Bryce Harper, Yelich, Donaldson, Goldschmidt, Altuve, Kris Bryant, Buster Posey, Votto, Mauer, Ryan Howard, Verlander, Josh Hamilton, Freddie Freeman, McCutcheon, Justin Morneau…

Etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.

2024 awards don’t count for 2025. Sorry. Raleigh wasn’t even a finalist this season.
November 15, 2025 at 1:01 AM
You’re dumb not because you think being a catcher and striking out 3 times for every homer makes one historic, you’re dumb because you have hallucinated a conspiracy against the west coast despite all easily provable evidence.

Go ahead. Do the grueling work of counting where the MVPs have played .
November 15, 2025 at 12:55 AM
I get it. It’s far less impressive to say he doesn’t have a passed ball in 120 games rather than 162.
November 15, 2025 at 12:39 AM
Raleigh played 25% of his games as DH. Judge only DHd that many games because he couldn’t throw a baseball the last two month of the season.

And no, it wasn’t even offensively. It wasn’t anywhere near close.

It’s okay to say that a catcher hitting 60 and not liking the Yankees is the criteria.
November 15, 2025 at 12:25 AM
Only 7 out of the last 20 AL mvps and 8 out of the last 20 NL mvps came from the east coast.
November 14, 2025 at 11:19 PM
Raleigh played 38 games at DH. About as much as Judge does every year (minus this year where he tore up his elbow and couldn’t throw).
November 14, 2025 at 11:12 PM
Dillon Dingler hit 60 home runs??????
November 14, 2025 at 11:08 PM
Al MVP winners he past 20 years

AL East: 7
AL Central 7
AL West 6

Baseball awards are clearly rigged to favor the East. 🙄
November 14, 2025 at 11:05 PM
Raleigh also struck out nearly 200 times and those homers were over 40% of his hits.

He was the beneficiary of pitchers not wanting to face Julio Rodriguez.
November 14, 2025 at 10:59 PM
Crazy that he caught for 162 games and DHed for 38. Playing nearly 40 more games than any team in baseball is exactly why Raleigh should have won.
November 14, 2025 at 10:55 PM
thus beating out players from the famously small market cities of Philadelphia and New York.

Most sportswriters didn’t think hitting 60 home runs and simply being a catcher didn’t overcome getting demolished in nearly every other category. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Everything is a conspiracy when you’re dumb.

East coast baseball player, Shohei Ohtani.

Little league parks are 399 and 385 in the power alleys?
November 14, 2025 at 4:26 AM
Baseball is biased against the West Coast as evidenced by the 30 MVPs between Shohei and Trout.
