Yes. Kathryn Bigelow is a great director and this is a tense and scary film.

Easily my favorite Star Trek movie. When Kirk hears he lost his son and he misses the chair? Heartbreaking. The amazing matte effects? Glorious. The final fight backflip by an obvious stunt double? Fantastic.
