Was looking for some old family photos of my Dad today, and ones of Mum and Dad together. Dad hated being photographed. It was slim pickings. I *DID* however, find these 2 glorious photos of a 7, 8 or 9 year old me... I dont remember how old I was here. Probably for the best!
Rob Jones, the chunkiest 7-8 year old of Lowestoft in the early to mid 1990s. In a Sunday Mirror jumper as my parents ran a newsagents and it was given to them... Today, I am building Raspberry Pi systems and projects with a newly 10 year old not-so-little-man. I don't understand where the time has gone?
The coolest Dad/Baby Yacht Rock Rap Group you never heard. A younger Rob with someone who at first glance resembles a Christmas elf but is in fact, my son. Over the years, Ive had 4 operations on my back. Plus multiple back injuries & a damaged disc. My back has been awful the last few days. Really painful. Workstoppingly painful. BUT, what ails me the most, dear reader is this small cut on the side of my thumb. Every knock, touch or tweak is agony.
My stupid thumb, with a small, .5cm at most cut alongside the nail.
